PC Millworks Inc., shown on this site as Precision Cabinets & Millwork, wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use pcmillworks.com.
Standard and current status
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This site is partially conformant with that standard, which means some parts do not yet meet it.
What the standard asks for
WCAG 2.2 is published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). It sets out its requirements, called success criteria, under four principles:
- Perceivable. People can see or hear the content, for example through text alternatives for images and enough contrast between text and background.
- Operable. People can use every part of the site, including with a keyboard alone.
- Understandable. Pages read and behave in a predictable way, and forms are clearly labeled.
- Robust. The site works with browsers and assistive technology such as screen readers.
Level AA means meeting all 55 of the Level A and Level AA success criteria. The full list is in the W3C’s How to Meet WCAG quick reference.
How the site was checked
On October 11, 2026, our web developer checked all ten pages of this site (Home, About, Services, Projects, Capabilities, Testimonials, Contact, Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and this page) with an automated testing tool against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA rules, and tabbed through each page with a keyboard. Each page was also loaded at a width of 320 pixels to see whether it fits a small screen. The check was made in a Chromium-based browser on a desktop computer.
Automated tools find only some kinds of problems. The site has not yet been tested with a screen reader or by people with disabilities.
Problems we know about
The automated check found no failures on any of the ten pages. We know of one problem that it does not catch:
- Contact page on very narrow screens. At a width of 320 pixels, or at high zoom, the quote form on the Contact page is slightly wider than the screen, so the page scrolls sideways. (Success Criterion 1.4.10, Reflow)
The recommendation letters on the Testimonials page are pictures of the original documents. Each one comes with a text version.
Content from other companies
The service area map on our Contact page and the check that guards the quote form come from other companies, and we do not control how they work with assistive technology. The area we serve is also described in words on that page, and you can reach us by phone or email in place of the form.
